Support FAQ's

System Requirements

1. How do I download Flash for my computer?

If you do not have Flash 8 or better, you will need to a moment to download the plug-in. The download is FREE and takes just a FEW MINUTES to complete! It is installed in your computer automatically, you do not have to reboot your computer after you download it.

Click HERE to download the player.

If you do not have Flash and do not want to install it, or Flash does not work properly on your computer, you can still access a review by choosing the text review instead of the high speed or dial up review, however, much of the artwork on the site may not be visible to you.

If you do not have sound on your computer, you will need to choose the text-based review.

2. Can I do this traffic school program if I have a MAC or WEB TV?

Absolutely!

3. What can I do if I can't hear sound?

Please check your computer's settings to be sure that the volume is turned up for wmf (Flash) files.

You may also choose the text-based version of our program.

Or, if you do not have Realplayer on your machine, you can download the free Realplayer at: http://www.realnetworks.com

There is an icon on the bottom right hand corner of the home page which will allow you to download the player. It only takes a few minutes.

Program Questions

1. How can I tell how far along in the program I am?

There is a blue navigation button on the left of the first page of each review that says "Your Progress". Clicking that will allow you to see where you are in the program.

2. How long will it take me to complete the InterActive! Traffic School course?

As individuals vary, so does the time it will take any one student to complete, if you received your citation in most California counties. While the course is a court-approved equivalent of an 8-hour classroom traffic school class, most courts allow online programs to be self-paced. Some students whip through our web traffic school program in a couple of hours, others choose to log on and off over the course of a couple of days.

However, if your were cited in Los Angeles County, the court requires that you spend 400 minutes on your online traffic school program.

The time requirement is mandatory for EVERY online traffic school approved in Los Angeles County. However, you can log in and out at any time and our server will save your spot.
You will be able to complete your traffic school requirement on your own schedule.

3. I doing my program for a citation I received in Los Angeles County. Why does the program time out on me at times?

The Los Angeles County courts require that your program be timed.

You will need to be actively participating in your program when the timer runs out and it will take you to the questions. If you simply let the program sit there for any length of time after the timer has run out, you will experience a timeout error.

This can also occur if you repeatedly pause your program, or pause your program for too long.

Identity Verification (Not required for all counties)

1. I originally chose the notary option when I signed up; how I do I switch to the online ID option?

Since you originally chose the notary option, you will need to pay the $8.00 fee for the online ID verification before we can reset your program so that you can access it.

In order to do so, when you get to the end of your program, before you access the final quiz, go to the link on the bottom of the page with the notary information and choose the link to pay the additional $8.00 fee.

After you pay the fee make sure you fill out the form on the page that appears after the payment page so you will let us know to reset your program
.

2. I am at the end of my program. How do I access the Online ID program?

To access the online id program, please login to your program and choose the link that says "All other courts" on the bottom of the Review Theater page.

Then choose the correct court link from the bottom of the page with the review material. You will be taken to the page which has explains the online id process and has a link to the online id program.

3. I paid for the identity verification program and I cannot see the link on the identity verification page. How do I temporarily disable my firewall?

Ordinarily, you should be able to see the link to the online ID program without making any changes to the firewall on your computer.

However, if you are having difficulty seeing the link to the online id program, in order to temporarily disable your computer's firewall, you will need to check your machine's manual or the built-in 'help' section on your computer, since every computer requires that different steps be taken for this procedure.

4. I failed the online ID twice, what do I do now?

You are only allowed two attempts at the online ID validation.

The identity verification system that we utilize accesses public records to verify your identity. A failed result means that your answers did not match the information available in the public records.

No one at InterActive has access to the questions that you were asked or your answers.

The questions are chosen randomly from a large database of questions and for security reasons the answers are not stored.

As stated in the information that you accessed upon sign up and then certified to before accessing the online ID system, if you fail both attempts for any reason, you will be required to take your final quiz in the presence of a notary and no refunds will be granted for your program or the failed online ID attempts.

You will need to log back into your program and print out the notary quiz that is available after the review material. You can then take the final quiz in the presence of any notary and fax back the answer sheet and notary sheet to us. The fax phone number is on the top of the quiz that you will print out from our web site.

Miscellaneous FAQ's

1. I entered the wrong case number and/or birth date upon sign up. How can I fix this?

We will need your correct case number and date of birth for your completion certificate.

You will need to send a support request to us with your correct information before you complete your program so that we may correct it before we create your completion certificate.

2. Why isn't there a shipping address on my payment receipt?

The payment receipt is generic and the shipping address fields are not used. If your court requires that your certificate be mailed to you, you will be able to tell us how and where you would like your certificate mailed at the end of your program.
